Background
Alphabet Adventures is an innovative interactive gamebook designed for singles, couples, and friends. The project brought together a talented, passionate, mission- and idea-driven team of graphic designers, illustrators, and creatives to produce a unique blend of storytelling, gameplay, and visual artistry. Spanning from letter A to letter Z, the book transforms each letter into a themed adventure, challenge, or activity—turning reading into an immersive, shared experience. My role included designing the cover art, creating select interior pages, and writing the copy that guides players through each adventure. It was truly a pleasure to collaborate with such a dedicated and inspired team to bring this concept to life.
Core problem
Traditional activity books often lack variety, narrative flow, and opportunities for meaningful social engagement. The challenge was to create something far more than a book—an experiential journey that connects people through play, creativity, and exploration, while maintaining consistent design quality and compelling storytelling throughout.
Content
Research and Concept Development
We explored interactive storytelling formats, puzzle mechanics, and social gameplay approaches to strike the perfect balance between creativity, challenge, and accessibility.
Design and Illustration
I designed the cover art to immediately convey the playful yet adventurous spirit of the book, while also creating select interior spreads that brought the adventures to life through typography, layout, and imagery.
Copywriting
I authored the text for specific adventures, blending instruction with personality to ensure each page was both clear and engaging.
Interactive Flow
Each of the 26 adventures was crafted to be self-contained yet interconnected, encouraging either sequential or pick-and-choose exploration.

Alphabet Adventures was celebrated for its originality, visual richness, and ability to bring people together in a shared creative journey. Early testers reported high engagement and replayability, often revisiting favorite letters. The book’s vibrant cover, immersive page designs, and personality-driven copy helped make it not only visually striking but also an emotionally memorable experience—reflecting the passion and creativity of the team behind it.
